Ultimate Games S.A has announced that its joyful game Bug Academy, developed by Polish studio Igrek Games, is now available on Nintendo Switch. The game was earlier released on PC in January 2020 and now it is expanding its campuses to Nintendo Switch as well. The publisher has also announced that an Xbox One version will be released in the second quarter of 2020.
We earlier reviewed the PC version of Bug Academy and we absolutely loved the fun and wacky gameplay of Bug Academy. Bug Academy is essentially a physics-based game where you get to train different types of insects. Each of the insect types in the game comes with different exercises such as finding and bring back lost cows, delivering fridges and washing machines in space and much more. All of the gameplay is physics-based which makes it even better.
The game has flies, fireflies, mosquitos, and bees and all of the insects come with skills that are essentially unique to them. Fireflies will allow you to see in the dark and hence you will train them to find and catch ghosts and even loot diamonds from banks. Similarly, flies, mosquitos, and bees come with their own unique missions such as guarding cows or flying rockets but every type of insect is equally fun to play around with. You have around 33 unique levels to train these insects in.
Mateusz Zawadzki, CEO of Ultimate Games says:
The game is intended for both younger and older players. The gameplay assumptions are not too complicated, but achieving the best results in individual missions is quite a challenge. Bug Academy offers intense fun full of surprising solutions. All this joyful chaos is accompanied by charming graphics, catchy melodies and the right dose of humor.
Key features of Bug Academy include:
- Insect training
- Flies, fireflies, mosquitoes, and bees
- Intense and humor-filled gameplay
- Joyful chaos
- 33 different levels/lessons
- Interactive world
- Charming graphics
- Insecty soundtrack
